Cabo

Because I've been to Cabo several times, and I'm going to be busy in the next few days, I decided to treat myself to another relaxing ship day instead of going ashore. Karen and I did our mile around the Promenade deck, then picked up coffee and headed to the Lido for breakfast. By this time we were nearing the Cape, and could see the outskirts of Cabo San Lucas and the rock formations. We arrived about 11am. Because this is a tender port it's very scenic to be on the ship and look out at the bay. It's quite windy today, so all the small boats going out to Los Arcos and Lovers beach are bouncing around.

We spent the afternoon mainly out by the pool. Because a lot of people were ashore it wasn't busy. I tried a portobello mushroom burger from Dive-in and it was very good. I also had a tasty "unleaded" margarita. There is a section on the menu for non-alcoholic drinks, some of which I plan to try. Karen and I went up to the Pickle ball court and hit the ball back and forth to try and get a feel for it. Then a swim.By late afternoon the wind had died down and some cloud moved in. No real sun set, but the lights of town were pretty, and we could hear the sounds of partying ashore.

Ocean bar for a cocktail, then tonight we went to Pinnacle Grill, which was excellent. I had a salad and scallops, and we shared a couple of desserts as they are very large. Then on to the piano bar before heading to bed. A lovely relaxing day.
